Teacher Support Group
Monthly meetings are held in the
Elementary Library on the first Tuesday of each month
beginning at 6:30 p.m. All parents are invited to attend. If
you would like more information, please contact P.T.S.G.
president, Jamie Lis, at 742-2879.
The objectives of the PTSG are:
1. To assist and promote quality education for the students
of Hillman Community Schools.
2. To bring closer relations between parents and teachers in
a cooperative effort for the education of children and
youth.
3. To assist and promote physical, mental, and social growth
in students.
4. To plan educational and social activities for students,
parents, and other members of the school community.
Ladies' Night Out is a
dinner/auction that takes place in the fall of each school
year. This year the auction will be held on
November 18, 2010. Items are donated by local businesses and community
members (many hand made) and presented at auction. This
enables support for our students without sending them
door-to-door selling items.
New this year, on December
3rd & 4th, will be an Old Fashioned Country Christmas Craft
Show. This will be like a Santa's Secret Shop only
local crafters will be selling items at a $5.00 and under
cost to the students Friday, then open to the community
Saturday morning.
Box Tops are collected
throughout the calendar year, even during the summer.
Please send them in with your child or visit their website
to print out coloring sheets to attach Box Tops to for more
fun turning them in.
