TODAY’S MENU:  Lunch - Pizza, corn, tossed salad, fruit & veggie bar.

FRIDAY’S MENU:  Breakfast – French toast sticks, sausage links, or cereal.  Lunch – breaded chicken sandwich, smiley potatoes, broccoli/cheese, fruit & veggie bar.

TODAY there will be a football meeting during AP for those in grades 8-11 interested in football next year.

Student Council will meet during AP Today in room 109.  We will be finalized the details of Winterfest.

JV/VARSITY girls basketball games are here tonight against Mio starting at 6:00 p.m.

Attention YAC Members: Important Voter's Meeting on Sunday, Feb. 12th at 3:00 pm at the Hillman High School library.

NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS -  MONDAY, FEB. 6^TH due to Professional Development Day.

Hillman Paw Prints staff are working with the Media Club to produce videos of a parody of the song, "Red Solo Cup."  All students are encouraged to get involved.  If you want to be involved but aren't sure where to start, please see Mrs. Nugent, Brandon Baur, or Courtney Kinney ASAP.  The Media Club will be shooting videos next week.

ANYONE interested in voting for their favorite 8^th grade nominees for King and Queen, bring your coins for the “Crazy Hands” competition  through Feb. 10^th.  You can vote during first lunch.  The money will be finalized that Friday and the King and Queen of the 8^th graders will be announced at the “Make-A-Wish” Jr. High dance held on Saturday, February 11^th . Sponsored by National Honor Society.

**Attention Hillman Rowdies**-- The Athletic Boosters are sponsoring a "Most Spirited Fan" contest to help bring back the "Hillman Rowdies". The contest will take place this Tonight, February 2nd at the Girls Basketball game VS Mio. The game starts at 6 p.m. Please dress is your orange and black to support your Lady Tigers. The most spirited fan will win a prize from the Boosters. GO TIGERS!!!

JUNIORS & SENIORS – pictures needed for Prom slide show of group photos, sports, or trips. Needed a.s.a.p. and put photos in Junior advisor mailbox. (can have up to 10 each)

Guest Passes for the Winterfest Dance are available in the office.  Winterfest is Saturday, February 25 from 7-11pm.  All guests must be approved by the principal by Friday, February 24 by 7^th hour.

Guest Pass Guidelines: Any person who is not currently enrolled in classes at Hillman High School must have a guest pass.  The student and guest must arrive and leave the dance together.  Guests may not be older than 20 at the time of the dance.  Junior High students are not allowed to attend High School dances.  After a student leaves the dance, they are not allowed to return to the dance.

SCHOLARSHIP INFO: Pick up across from office in scholarship folders.

ALPENA Community College Scholarships are available in rack across from office.

The Atlanta Thunder Bay Eagles #4077 is offering a scholarship – applicant does not have to have any Eagle affiliation. 

The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is offering a scholarship – applicant does not have to have any Masonic affiliation.

Seniors – The Dick & Doris Smith Memorial Scholarship is available to eligible seniors from Atlanta, Fairview, Hillman, or Mio High Schools.  Check the scholarship rack across from the office.
